Surah Abasa Introduction

Al Quran surat abasa 80th surah is the subject of this article. The Qur’an’s 80th sura, or chapter, contains 42 verses, or ayat, and is titled ʻAbasa (Arabic: عبس, “He Frowned”). Meccan sura is what it is. The opening word of the Surah, `abasa, gives rise to its name.

Surah Abasa gives us the lessons of the directive that those who seek guidance must come first when it comes to sharing Allah’s word. Man shall care so much about himself on the Day of Judgment that he will not even care about his mother, father, brother, or children—the reminder of Man’s Creatorship.

Themes of Surah Abasa
